What is the expected price development of the AEX Index?
After the strong rise in the middle of last week, we see a slight correction of about 1 percent in the AEX this week. This price movement fits within the preferred scenario of our algorithm. The AEX can and may even return to 832. From at least that level, the index will resume the upward trend with an initial target price of 875. The target price of 950 for 2024 remains unchanged.

Nasdaq Price Development
Below you will find the chart of the Nasdaq100 since the beginning of this year. Currently, the Nasdaq is at 18,000, fluctuating around the price from the end of last week. The same applies to the Nasdaq as to the AEX. The price fluctuations in the Nasdaq are larger and more volatile than in the AEX, but the trend and scenario are the same. Hence, the algorithm has also taken a long position here. The target price for the Nasdaq is 19,000, with an ultimate target price for 2024 of 22,500.

In the coming trading week, we expect the ECB's interest rate decision and press conference on Thursday afternoon and the monthly employment figures from the US on Friday afternoon. Both events can cause a lot of volatility.
