In the first month of 2026, AEX high-tech funds are shooting out of the starting blocks with price gains of around 40%. Long-term price targets are rapidly being approached or even pulverized.

Today we are not going to cover background information and developments of these companies but it is time for a short clear update of the view to determine how to deal with this extreme situation and what is in store for you as an investor.

ASML:

Brief look back and current situation in your portfolio;

On July 17, 2025, we gave you the consideration to put the stock in your portfolio at €600. See article: ASML: History repeats itself. Once again fear rules!

On December 4, 2025, the short-term price target was adjusted to €1,100 and the long-term price target €1,500. In the meantime, a larger correction is expected.
See article: ASML: Price target in sight, how to proceed?

With the current price of €1,235, the price target of €1,100 has been more than met and we assume that you have taken a nice profit of over 80% in six months and the ASML share is no longer in your portfolio.

What is Yelza's current view on ASML's share price?

Below is the price chart of ASML as of July 2024 with the most likely scenario plotted.

For the short term, the price could still make a move to €1,380 - €1,400. The algorithm continues to indicate that another larger correction is imminent. This is a normal and healthy movement in a larger upward trend. In the new scenario, the correction will not go to the previously stated €750 but will end around €1,000. The price target is unchanged at €1,500.00.

The conclusion is that we want to give you the consideration to be patient with the purchase of ASML shares until the price has gone through the decline to around €1,000.00. If you still own the shares, you can consider taking profits towards €1,400 and then wait for the correction to get in for the ride to €1,500.

Besi

Brief review and current situation in your portfolio;

In 2025, in the four articles about Besi, we have given you the consideration to buy the share at €95 and sell at the price target €145. Furthermore, we had you consider buying at €135 and expanding at €170. Price target €200,-.
With the current price around €170,- we assume that you have the Besi stock in your portfolio.

What is Yelza's current view on Besi's share price?

Below is Besi's price chart as of July 2024 with the most likely scenario plotted.

For Besi, our algorithm calculates the same type of scenario as for ASML. The price could continue to rise to around €190 and then go through a larger correction. This decline could lead to a level of around €150. The price target is slightly increased from €200,- to €210,-.

The conclusion is that we would like to give you the consideration to sell the Besi shares in the upcoming rise to around €190,-. At that point, in two trades within a year, you will have been able to realize a return of about 75% and, in addition, the stock price will be in a zone where it is ready for a larger decline.
In the correction to around €150, you can then consider buying back the stock for a ride to the new price target at €210.

ASM International

Brief review and current situation in your portfolio;

Very recently, on January 8, 2026, we came out with an update on ASMi in the article: ASM International: turbulent to great heights. The price performance of recent weeks already gives reason to present another update.

In the first article on ASMi from early 2025, we already gave you the consideration to include the ASMi share in your portfolio at €575,- and to buy at €455,- and later at €630,-. Price target €790,-.

Over the past few weeks, ASMi shares have risen about 50% and are arrowing towards the price target.
We assume you have the shares in your portfolio since the price target has not yet been reached.

What is Yelza's current view of ASMi's share price?

Below is ASMi's price chart as of July 2024 with the most likely scenario plotted.

A similar scenario to ASML and Besi also applies to ASMi. In the short term, the share price can hit €800 and is then neatly in the zone around the long-time target of €790.

Furthermore, the price can go through a larger correction to around €650 and then set course for the new long-term price target of €875.

In conclusion, we would like to give you the consideration to take profits in the zone around €790 - €800. In the correction to around €650, you can consider buying the stock again for the ride to the next price target of €875.
