
Crude oil inventories in the United States rose last week. This was shown on Wednesday by figures from the American energy agency EIA.
In the week ending Sept. 9, crude oil inventories increased 2.4 million barrels to 429.6 million.
Gasoline inventories decreased by 1.8 million barrels to 213.0 million barrels.
Stocks of fuel oil and diesel increased by 4.2 million barrels to 116.0 million units.
The capacity utilization of the refineries amounted to 91.5 percent. That was 90.9 percent a week earlier.
